Long Weekend.

I’ve never really been productive ever since that long weekend started. I planned and swore that I was going to study in Financial Statistics and Financial Management 2. Compared to Finman1, Finman2’s getting more and more complicated- memorizing formulas about the risks and return in investing stocks in the market. The only thing that was productive was my mouth. And my fingers. Guess I have gained a few extra pounds again. Also, I’ve been playing this five-part game series called The Walking Dead non-stop. Currently, I’m in episode three, the part on which Ken, Clem, Lee, Chuck, and Ben were on their way to Savannah in search for a coast. Hypothetically, they think that zombies couldn’t swim so they’d be better off living on a boat. My brother introduced me to it. I got engrossed to it immediately. He’s finished with episode four. He’s waiting for episode five, which would be released soon. He said that it was getting really interesting already. I want to finish episodes 3 and 4, to. The problem is, I couldn’t access my file. It just wouldn’t open. Bummer. So right now, I’m keeping myself busy by playing Ragnarok Battle Offline with my younger sister, even though my brother and I have managed to finish the game, and unlock the two Novice characters when I was still a frosh.

Meeting for Humaart project at school + Lunch at Mcdo with my friends and their friend + Arcade, Happy Lemon, Window Shopping in Robinson’s Place

I would just be posting photos here since I don’t want to type and blog the same content again. I failed to save the original post of this and now I’m too lazy to type here what happened again. Too bad. Argh! I’ve been really spending a lot last friday. Mcdo lunch for burger meal at P75, jeep fare from V. Cruz to PGH: P8, PGH to Robinson’s Place: P20, Timezone load card worth P150, Happy Lemon Orange-Mango Shake/Slurpie: P100, Puto seko:P7. Long story short, spent the whole day from 8:30am-6;30pm with a friend, who was in a “rebel mode” after what happened between him and her at their place. So I kinda tagged along, which wasn’t a part of my plan since I should have went home at 1pm. But since our computer was broken, I couldn’t surf the net, which what I am addicted to, and decided to just stay at Taft.

Meet my crazy friend, Mica. :)) People say that we actually look alike. And judging from the photos, I do see the resemblance. :))

Don’t you think so, too? She can be my long lost sister. Nah. She’s my doppelganger. :))

Mental Plans

here are some of my mental plans which I was supposed to do during our Christmas break/before 2011 ended:

1. Movie Marathon with siblings. Check.

We watched: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time- super loved that movie.

Cinematography was awesome. Plot- I’ll give it a 10/10. Characters- No hunks haha joke! But I don’t know if it was based on a real story or not, or if it was based on the game instead. And if it were, did Disney improvised it? Idk. ALSO, I didn’t get the ending when Nizam, the princes’s evil uncle who wanted to be the king so bad, and Prince Dastan were fighting over the magical sword/dagger at the last scene and then, it ended up that Tus, the last holder, I don’t know if it was an accident or not, made the setting shift/rewind to the time when they defeated and destroyed the sacred city of Alamut, ruled by a princess named Tamina, who soon fell for Dastan. I didn’t understand why that happened and also my younger sibling.

Here’s a flashback on how we ended up watching it: I was choosing a channel on the television because there weren’t any good shows on Nick, Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, Animax, HBO, nor AXN. When I turned the channel to 26/Star Movies, a show was about to be aired so I waited for it. To my surprise, it was Prince of Persia. I wanted to watch that movie and finish it because I already liked it on Facebook although I haven’t watched it yet hahaha (and even though it was already late in the evening because I also super loved the game, Prince of Persia. (And I don’t mean to brag or anything, but I finished that game so many times already. I’m just saying! XD) Their names were also so weird that at first my sister and I couldn’t memorize it. We had a hard time pinpointing who’s who and I didn’t like it. What I liked the most about it was when Dastan was lecturing Tamina about how we make our own destiny. I completely agree with him. And halfway through the movie, our brother went down and asked us to go up already and sleep because he has to study for his lists of case law. I didn’t want to go up because I wanted to finish it. But then he told us to watch the movie inside his room, and so we did. The movie ended at around 1 in the morning already. My parents were already asleep. My younger sister and I immediately turned the tv off and slept.

New Year’s Eve: We watched 2 movies.

Water for Elephants and Beastly. I got teary eyed for old Jacob especially on the last part. He was a cute, chubby old fella with pink puffy cheeks. Kinda reminds me of Santa. Robert Pattinson/Edward took part for the Young Jacob. He looked exactly like our teacher in Religion when I was in high school!

Whereas Beastly (sorry for the word) sucked. It totally did. The story was an adaptation of the old classical movie, Beauty and the Beast. It was the most fast-forwarded love story ever told. I hated Vanessa Hudgens for acting all cutesy again, like what she does in High School Musical. And Alex Pettyfer’s acting was not good. He’s Brit but he’s american accent was also a blah. He’s almost like Bella in Twilight/Kristen Stewart who’s notorious for being monotonous. We kept on laughing at how weird he acted and so as the plot of the movie. Where was the kilig part? Nothing, I say.

My older sister and I also watched Kick-Ass but we didn’t get the chance to finish it since it was already 1am. We only watched the first forty minutes of it and we stopped it. Aaron Johnson didn’t look good there. My sister said that Anggus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging was aired first before Kick-Ass. In Anggus, Aaron Johnson was the perfect guy. But in Kick-Ass, he looked like your typical geeky boy who loved superhero comic books. And she also said that Aaron Johnson already has a wife when Kick-Ass was being filmed. Nooo! :( XD

^Aaron Johnson in Anggus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging <333

^ Aaron Johnson in Kick-Ass. (The guy in the middle.)

^And Aaron Johnson today. What happened?

He’s also Brit but he speaks American English way better than Alex Pettyfer lol. I’ve also watched a couple of movies (like The Thief Lord when he was a kid) he was in but Anggus Thongs was his best one. He was so perfect <3.

^Her mask didn’t actually fit into her peepers XD

And there was this cute little girl named Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl. She was so cute and little back then. But now, she’s turned mature and pretty. Time flies really fast.

2. Get past Doppelganger in Ragnarok Battle Offline with my new Swordsman and Acolyte. Hmm… Still in progress…

I defeated Doppelganger using my level 10 Swordsman but my level 7 Acolyte is stuck on stage 3. We’re going back to Manila tomorrow after lunch! I need to get my acolyte past stages 3, 4, 5, and 6. I’m not a hundred percent sure if I can do that. My sisters kept on playing and the maximum number of players are only up to 3 players. :( Tomorrow for sure! I’ll wake up early just to finish this.

3. Meet up with high school friends. Check.

4. Chill mode during break. Check.

Except for the Ragnarok part. I’m cramming this one! Deadline’s tomorrow! O__O

5. Read books.____

I was planning to finish Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist and finish it during this Christmas Break but then I forgot to bring it. Left it in Manila. It’s a very old book first published in 1988 about following one’s dreams/ personal goals. I’m halfway done.

<img class=”aligncenter size-medium wp-image-811″ title=”250px-The_Lost_Hero_210″ src=”″ alt=”” width=”198″

RBO fever.

My brother and his friend have been using the computer downstairs since 10 in the morning. Now, they’re playing Ragnarok Battle Offline when in fact, my sisters and I should’ve been playing it. I also heard that they reset the game. My level 17 swordsman, my level 12 acolyte, and my level 5 mage are all gone and so as my sisters’. It’s so hard to get to level 7 and pass and beat Doppelganger. >:( We also have to reconfigure the controls again. I only have 2 more days to play before I get back to the Capital City and to get my characters into strong and powerful players like they were before he restarted the game.

But look on the bright side, he already downloaded an english patch so we can now understand and distribute the points we earned into the skills we want our characters to learn. And the speakers were also fixed by either him or his friend so we can play with music now which will lead to a more possible anxiety and fear but fun game.hahaha!

You can say that I am an addict and also an avid fan of RBO. And I admit it, I am. We first played it when I was in 1st year high school, when my younger sister and I were having our Summer Enrchment Program in Algebra and in Speech, the reason why my accent changed when we were in second year, in Ateneo de Manila. Anywho, it has already been 4 years. Our bunso was still a baby, who was 9 back then, but we still call her ‘Bibi’ at that time haha! But when she was in 4th grade, I already trained and tucked myself into calling her by her real name. I know she also got engrossed by the game. We all were. But I think, I love RBO the most since I am most greatly affected by what I think kuya did.

2 days? I think I can manage that.

I, therefore, dare myself to finish the game with all my three characters-swordsman, acolyte and mage by 2 days. And I shall start tomorrow. Addict mode. >:]

I can hear them playing until now. And they’re already in level 5. Oh the fun we were supposed to have today, we missed it.

Kuya’s Birthday!

Today, I’ll be featuring my brother since it’s his birthday. He’s still not yet married, though. He’s still too young for that, too. Anyways, we celebrated his 24th at Bigg’s Diner. We chose Bigg’s because there’s no Bigg’s in Manila. We’ll only get to eat there once we have our school break. The whole family ate and the funny thing is that, we ordered the same dish for all of us- Cordon Bleu. I was thinking about eating spaghetti, chicken and barbecue set but it costs P169.00. It’s more expensive than Cordon Bleu, which only cost P149.00. I don’t want to spend that much since my mom is super thrifty.

Since it’s his special day, we asked a waitress if whether or not the fast food restaurant offers a cake or something to a celebrant. The waitress was unsure so she told us to wait for a moment so that she could ask the branch manager. After 20 minutes or so, three waitresses and the branch manager arrived with a small chocolate cake and they all sang and greeted my brother a happy birthday. I video-ed them while singing. Unfortunately, my phone can only “automatically” upload photos/videos on my Facebook account. My elder sister teased him that the waitresses were “swooning” over him (which was true). And according to her, when they were about to leave, one of them gave him a second glance. Haha! If it weren’t his birthday today, I’d tease him again because after all, I am notorious for being the “malisyosa” in the family.

I didn’t actually greet him personally but hey, I already greeted him on Facebook.

Due to lack of time and me being busy bonding with my younger sisters in playing Ragnarok Battle Offline, my ideal 40 posts a month likely won’t happen. And our trip to Manlaue Island was cancelled due to heavy rain. :(
